Who I am
Born and raised in South Africa, I have lived and worked in London since 2003. I consider myself very much a South African, and very much a Londoner.

I worked in secondary education in South Africa during one of the periods that shaped the world today. The abandonment of Apartheid allowed me to play a part in transforming education in the country and to facilitate the dreams of those who lived through some of the worst years of racial injustice. In many ways, the pleasure I got from doing that is what I get from coaching: it’s still about facilitating people’s dreams and ambitions.
Since moving to the U.K., I have gradually moved out of education and increasingly adopted a more corporate focus. Since 2005, I have worked as a coach for one of the world’s leading behaviour change specialists. In that capacity, I have worked with thousands of employees from graduates through to CEOs, helping them to get the best from themselves and their colleagues. In addition to that, I have done private 1:1 coaching for several years. Having now qualified as a Personal and Executive coach, and as a member of the ICF, that is where my primary passion lies.
